Hi, and welcome to my blog about the things in life that make me happy or sad. I'm known in the Dutch George Michael fandom. Because I write so much about George Michael on this blog I wanted to use the same name. My full African name is Adaobi, Ada for short. So that’s where the name of this blog came from.

What else? I'm a black woman, originally from Nigeria, or rather the short-lived Republic of Biafra, (Africa) but living in the Netherlands since 1969. I got married in 2005 to Anja, the love of my life. We've been together for more than 25 years. I live with my wife, our cat Otje and our dog Teddy near Amsterdam.
